We are excited to announce that Bell Maison, are now one of three practices in Barnet to be granted a probate license. The licence will permit our firm to deliver estate administration and probate services to their clients after legislation was passed in 2014, allowing accredited accountants to take on the service.
Up until October 2014, solicitors were the only ones authorised to carry out probate and estate administration. However, accountants with a recognised license can now do so - an advantage for clients who prefer for these services to be dealt with by those who are financial experts and familiar with their personal situation. Currently, Bell Maison is one of 35 accountancy firms in London and Barnet licenced to carry out probate
